Issues content straight from the source

Issues.co.nz was launched in 2009 as a completely new and unique website in the New Zealand current affairs media scene.
Issues.co.nz takes account of a shift to user generated media content by those promoting issues online. But while online campaigns are commonplace inside a bewildering host of organisation websites and specially built micro sites and blogs, Issues.co.nz is the first dedicated community website which presents any number of self managed issues campaigns in one convenient place where they can be easily found and cross referenced.
In Issues.co.nz, promoters have a very cost effective ability to create, define and expose their stories, using their own look and feel, in a unique and powerful web environment. Using secure access to self-managed, templated web pages, they can post news releases, run blogs, undertake surveys and polls, promote events, undertake fundraising, run an informal petition, operate an e-newsletter, gather comments and more. And crucially they can set up and change their web pages almost instantly so that they stay current as stories break or circumstances change.
In a nutshell the major benefit for users is that Issues.co.nz cuts through the clutter and fragmentation of websites competing for attention in a world dominated by Google while issue promoters have an ability which is better, cheaper and faster than any previous online method.
For FRESCO clients promoting issues, this website provides an important new dimension to activity. However many organisations are joining Issues.co.nz quite independently of FRESCO and we welcome the fact that they may be using other marketing and communications professionals for support.
